Need to Surrender an Animal?

Whether it’s a found stray or a personal pet, we’re here to help when we can. While we can't accept every case, we’ll always do our best to find a safe solution.

How It Works

What to expect when submitting a surrender request.

1

1

Submit a Surrender Form

Tell us about the animal’s history, behavior, and medical needs. Please be as detailed and honest as possible. The more we know, the better we can help.

There’s a $15 application fee for personal pet surrenders, which helps support our ongoing rescue work. (No fee is required for stray submissions.)

2

Review & Foster Search

We’ll carefully review your application. Since we don’t have a physical shelter, we must secure a foster home before accepting any animal into our rescue.

We prioritize urgent cases, animals in unsafe conditions, or those with no other options.

3

3

Approval, Contract & Intake

If your application is approved and we’re able to place the animal, we’ll move forward with a surrender contract.

Please note: there is a $200 surrender fee for personal pets, and a $100 surrender fee for approved stray intakes.

It’s typically only a fraction of what it takes to care for an animal, but 100% of these contributions go directly toward vetting, supplies, and ongoing support for that animal and others in our rescue.
